On one hand, the study of the discipline of marketing is focused on professional knowhow. On the other hand, the role of the individual as a fundamental professional pivot along with the management of ones knowledge, emotions, and relationships which are oriented towards performance in the corporate ecosystem. And, lastly, the incorporation of global, cross-cultural, and digital realities, in a horizontal way to facilitate the ability of current businesses to assimilate reality and to adapt. This update implies, for ESIC, a rejuvenation of our academic DNA, in offering our students as we have always done, the highest degree of professional and personal training.

In this session, news and characteristics of the year and the school will be discussed, and a Student Welcome Manual will be delivered.

Before starting the Private Degree in Global Marketing Management (TSDMG), two “levelling” courses will be taught so that students may confront those subjects, which in our experience, have been shown to be necessary. The aim of this is to ensure that new students should have the necessary quantitative knowledge before starting year one, and also to provide them with greater educational guarantees and efficacy. These courses are:

  • Introductory Mathematics Course..
  • Introductory Accounting Course.

ESIC maintains a Tutoring Action Plan (TAP), which students of the Private Degree in Global Marketing Management (TSDMG) may participate in, during the intake and adaptation process at the school. .

At the start of each course of the Private Degree in Global Marketing Management (TSDMG), each student will be assigned a Tutor, that will be their mentor in both personal and academic environments. Both will carry out a series of orientation meetings and interviews during the school year, with the objective of carrying out appropriate follow up and so that each student is supported in their process of adaptation to school life.

The functions of the tutor will be introducing students to the school (philosophy and resources) and providing them with information on the Degree, invigorating their university process, and making their individual and group integration possible..

For more information, see Degree Tutors.

The Professional Development Unit (PDU) provides students and alumni with active employment search tools.

At ESIC we have been building a top level national and international corporate contacts network for years, which allows us to offer our students services oriented towards facilitating their insertion into the labour market.

Interested parties receive personalised counselling, and may access selection processes according to their training, experience, and preferences. This is a service placed at the disposal of alumni all throughout their professional career.
