ACADEMIC STRUCTURE OPTION 1: IMBA & DUAL DEGREE in SISU, Shanghai, China.

This option implies 67 credits with approximately 450 hours of face-to-face contact with the faculty team. It is structured into three modules, a Business Study Tour in a well-known institution, and a group final project that must be presented before a tribunal.

In this module you will learn how to develop a new, competitive strategic business vision to make ethical and unsustainable decisions associated with an entrepreneurial approach, planning, and executing comprehensive strategic and tactical elements, deciding the business model you must implement. It will provide the students with the ability to deal with complex and unexpected scenarios in a sound and professional manner based on established principles laid down in theory, generating value. 

This module will be supported by several pillars such as innovation, digitization, methodologies, and hands-on training tools, the expertise of an outstanding faculty team -where 100% of professors are working in several sectors in executive management positions- and the use of data and Artificial Intelligence with a clear focus on the sustainability and profitability of the business plan proposed.

Students will go through a curricular Business Study Tour in an internationally accredited institution, where the students will immerse in business realities for 6 months, with a final project at the end of the stay. The tuition fee for this international module is included in the price of the master’s (travel costs, accommodation, and meals not included). 

In this module you will learn how to upgrade the business administration knowledge and skills, following the strategy and tactics designed during the first module, generating value into motion. It will comprise international operations, corporate finance, how to manage organizations and human resources, embedded into a multicultural approach guided by Asian-based lecturers.

Frontiers of Management lecture series

The program in Spain culminates in the entrepreneurial business plan, which forms the primary focus of your IMBA. The project involves 10 credits within the IMBA in ESIC required for completion. 

This project is a group-based work to be carried out as a team, consisting of between 3-5 members, designed to develop professional research skills applied to a real business idea proposed by the students, as well as the skills necessary to propose suggestions for the company as consultants.  The aim is for participants to demonstrate not only academic achievements but also the improvement of personal and professional skills throughout the project's development, as well as show your IMBA program outcomes under an entrepreneurial approach supported by the ESIC Entrepreneurship Department.  

Your team will build a strategic business plan to provide the company with solutions and recommendations for success. In doing so, your team will meticulously research the market to ensure you understand industry trends and can understand and predict consumer behavior to lead the business idea in the right direction.  Your team will identify the changes across different market sectors and how those trends affect the ability to reach those target markets and provide valuable suggestions to the business proposed on how to move forward in a manner that generates revenue and branding for them.

The program in China culminates in an individual report leading to a monographic study of not less than 25,000 words developed in English and including a 3,000-word abstract in Chinese. The project involves 12 credits within the IMBA in SISU program, which is required to complete the DUAL degree. The process will be monitored by both ESIC and SISU and consists of the following sections:

A practical approach for one of the more frequent marketing tools.

You will have different assessments throughout the program, Individual and Group assessments. The cases will provide the students with the context and relevant data for you to sort out the complexity of the scenario, analyze the critical elements, provide effective and efficient solutions, and propose a final set of recommendations according to the corresponding questions associated with the Course evaluated.

  1. If the programme meets your needs, you proceed to apply. 
  2. Prepare the necessary documentation (such as university degree or certificates). 
  3. Conduct a personal and professional essay.

3 INTERVIEW

  1. Once the documentation is approved, you are scheduled for an interview with the program director. 
  2. At this interview, you will be able to discuss any specifics you want to know about the program, as well as any questions you may have. 

4 ENROLMENT

  1. After the interview, your advisor will contact you within 24-48 hours to notify you if you have been accepted into the program.
  2. Once you have been accepted, you have about 5 days to formalise your enrolment.
